Formed in 1973, the Burpham Community Association provides a forum where local residents can raise concerns, share ideas and know their voices will be heard. It’s also a great way to join in activities with neighbours, get involved in local events and help shape the future of our community.

Litter pick

BEATING THE BOUNDARIES

We revive the ancient tradition of remembering the parish boundaries and its landmarks. This is a one-hour circuit of the parish boundaries (excluding a swim in the river!) with pauses to admire the view, hear historical background, and offer a prayer. NOTE CHANGE OF START TIME TO 10am

FREE: Visit the Community Cafe between 9am and noon and swap or borrow a jigsaw from our extensive collection. NB Please check that the Community Café is open on the day.

WALK AROUND LEITH HILL & HOUSE

Roam Leith Hill at prime rhododendron time, plus the tower, and the option to visit home of composer Vaughan Williams. Nice lunches available. It costs £6 to visit house, tower and grounds. NT members go free.
