Another successful series of Winter Talks

As our Winter Lecture series comes to a close, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us over the past few weeks and, of course, to our brilliant speakers who shared their time, knowledge and enthusiasm so generously.

Once again, the Village Hall was filled with curious minds, great questions and a real sense of community. It’s been wonderful to see so many familiar faces alongside new ones, all coming together to learn something new on a Friday evening.

Thank you – and what’s next?

None of this would be possible without our speakers and everyone who supports Burpham Community Association by attending our events. Your enthusiasm is what makes these evenings so special.

A special thank you also goes to the small team of volunteers behind the scenes who plan, organise and run the Winter Lecture series each year. From booking speakers and setting up the hall to welcoming everyone on the night, their time and dedication help make these events enjoyable, welcoming and smoothly run. We’re incredibly grateful for all they do.

If you have a subject you’re passionate about and would like to share your knowledge and experience at a future BCA event, we’d be delighted to hear from you.

Although the Winter Lectures are now finished for the season, there’s plenty more coming up – including our upcoming Cheaper, Greener, Better event on saving energy and green gardening. We hope to see many of you there.

Thank you again for making this winter’s talks such a success 💙
