Spring clean

Thank you to everyone who joined the litter pick this morning (Saturday 12th April).

The Burpham Community Association’s litter pick this morning was a great success – and even the weather joined in, treating volunteers to glorious sunshine.

Armed with gloves, bags, litter pickers and our hi-vis vests, our group of enthusiastic residents tackled some of the area’s worst-affected spots. It wasn’t long before we’d filled several bags with rubbish – everything from takeaway wrappers to beer cans, and even an abandoned Christmas tree!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part. It’s always inspiring to see our community come together to help keep Burpham beautiful.

Our next litter pick will be on Saturday 28th June. Fancy joining us?

How can I subscribe to the BCA?

The committee members and helpers of the BCA are all local people who work for the community on a voluntary basis.
